The opening session will take place on the 22nd of November, at 4 p.m., at the County Library of Albergaria-a-Velha, and there will be a round-table on this year’s theme of Expoflorestal, “For a Thriving Forest”.
The speakers in this session will be Miguel Freitas, Secretary of State for Forestry and Rural Development, who will engage the topic of forestry policies, Daniel Bessa, who will bring to the discussion the topic of the country’s forestry economics, and Luís Sarabando, who will talk about the role and contribution of its agents for the development of forests; Cristina Vaz Tomé, from Universidade Católica, will moderate the debate.
This will launch the most important event of the forestry sector in Portugal.
